Services

Joint Replacements (Hip, Knee, Shoulder)

A joint replacement is when the the damaged part of the joint is removed and prosthetic components are inserted. The benefits of a joint replacement include: pain relief, increased mobility and to improve the function of the joint.

Knee Arthroscopy

A knee arthroscopy is a procedure used to diagnose and treat problems within the knee joint. It involves a small incision of the knee and the insertion of a tiny camera (arthroscope) that is used to guide the surgeon and diagnose a range of potential problems such as a torn meniscus or misaligned patella.

Shoulder Arthroscopic Subacromial Decompression And rotator cuff repair

A shoulder arthroscopic subacromial decompression and a rotator cuff repair are two procedures usually performed during the same operation to treat a condition called shoulder impingement. This occurs when the bones and tendons in the shoulder rub up against each other when you raise your arm, causing significant pain. The most common cause of this pain is bursitis or tendonitis. These procedures are done arthrosopically and the patient can usually go home within 24 hours.
